UK - the return

Since I returned from America it has struck me that, having seen so many miles over there, I still had an awful lot of the UK still to see.

Instead of satisfying my Wanderlust, the trip on Amtrak has amplified my itchy feet (not a medical condition)!

So after a week of searching and viewing several 'classic' Camper Van's I have purchased a rather nice Toyota Hi-Ace.

The Camper is in lovely condition, has a Diesel engine and has only done 39000 miles.  It has power steering and is an Automatic.

I was feeling apprehensive about driving a bigger vehicle - having forgotten that I have driven Automatic people movers when on holiday in Florida - Doh!  Once I remembered this I was away.

Kitted out with new curtains and gas stove - she is ready for her first trip - Derbyshire this weekend.

After that, as I have never been to the Lake District, me and the girls will be heading North...........
